There are 2 versions of the Shazam App:

Shazam is the free version, with new users receiving 5 Tags a month.

Shazam now comes with in-app purchasing. This means you can choose to upgrade your free version of Shazam to Shazam Encore within the App without losing your Tags or having to download Shazam Encore from the App store. There are 2 options:

1 year upgrade to Shazam Encore for £1.79/€2.39/$2.99 (Launch Offer), with access to unlimited tagging and exclusive features.
Lifetime upgrade to Shazam Encore for £2.99/ €3.99/ $4.99, with access to unlimited Tagging and exclusive features.

If you downloaded the App before 9th November 2009, you can enjoy all the great features you’ve come to expect from Shazam without any limitations on tagging.

Shazam Encore is the premium version, with exclusive features and unlimited usage.

Shazam Encore is available for £2.99/ €3.99/ $4.99, depending on location, from the App Store on iPhone and iPod touch.

Both Shazam Apps are live in 22 countries across the world and local language versions are available in English (UK and US), German, Italian, Spanish, French, Dutch, Portuguese and Japanese.
